Join the ever-growing community of Concord Motorsport friends by sending in snapshots featuring your BMW or MINI. Captions and short stories are also encouraged. We want to know how you enjoy your BMW or MINI and the fun and adventures you experience with it. We welcome all entries!
Some helpful ideas and suggestions for photo-taking: For locations, scenic drives, unusual or dramatic locations, or even just your car at home is fine. If you can, take photos in the highest resolution (picture size) your camera can take in. If shooting on a sunny day, it can be very tricky to control reflections and shadows, but it's best to keep your car's shadow casting away from the camera, hiding it behind the car itself. Flash works best only for close-ups of parts of the car that don't tend to get much light (under the hood, the underbody the car, etc.). If you're unsure of how to do that or it seems like too much work, overcast days provide the most even light, as the clouds serve as a diffuser (much like a lamp shade). This prevents shadows casting across your car's finish or interior. We also are accepting video submissions for consideration --(but keep it street-legal on the roads people!). For example, this might be a better avenue for giving our website visitors a video "tour" of your modified BMW or MINI.
